Keep money visible

Treat every payment as a decision, not a reflex

Simple boundaries and good records make it easier to notice unexpected charges, confusing conditions and requests that do not feel right.

Know the maximum cost you are accepting

Separate entertainment money from rent, food, bills, savings and debt payments. Decide a fixed amount before opening the service and do not increase it to recover a previous loss or to unlock a promotion.

Read deposit, fee and withdrawal information together. A low entry amount can still be connected to conditions that affect access to the balance later.

Stop when a payment request changes channel

Be cautious if support asks for a transfer to a personal account, cryptocurrency sent to a private wallet, remote access to your device or a fee paid through an unrelated service. Do not make an additional payment simply because someone says it is required to release an earlier one.

A withdrawal problem is not solved by sending more money without clear written terms.

Keep evidence

Save confirmation screens, transaction references and the version of relevant terms. Good records help you explain a disputed charge to the provider or your payment institution.

Act early

If a transaction is unfamiliar, secure the account and contact the payment institution using the number or channel you already trust. Do not use contact details supplied by the suspicious message.
